Digital products are currently 'on the wave'. At least, that is the trend I currently see in Indonesia. Especially after the massive advertising of a platform people call "the green platform". They sell various things, such as printables, ebooks, Canva templates, etc. These products are only sold for a few cents. But considering the magnitude of the Indonesian digital market, the earning potential can be up to millions of rupiahs.

I was initially sceptical about this business model. Influencers might be exaggerating about the amount they earn through this "green platform". It's too good to be true. But then Novarty, a blogger I follow, posted her earnings through this platform. Well, her monthly earnings have not come to millions yet. But considering the number of her followers, some hundred thousand sounds rational to me.
Although you can't live on just several hundred thousand rupiahs in this country, I think this stream of income can be considered for a side hustle. Especially if you create the digital product as a by-product of your normal full-time job.
Convert Your Job Into Digital Products
Let me give you some examples of how you can create digital products from the daily job you already have.
1. You are a content creator who made scripts for your videos. You can sell these scripts as ebooks.
2. You are a school teacher whose daily job is to create worksheets for your students. You can sell these worksheets as a digital product for other teachers or for parents from other schools. This is what I currently try to do. Check out my shop to see how simple I made it.
3. You are a mom, creating daily meal plans or printables for your kids. You can also sell them as digital products.
4. You are a chef in a restaurant. You can sell your recipes.
5. You are a blogger. You can compile several blog posts on the same topic and make it into a structured ebook.
6. You can also create an online class using paywalled videos.

Marketing Challenge
Creating the digital product is a thing, but marketing it is another challenge. Of course, you need to create a selling poster, set up the shop, and inform everyone using social media that you sell digital products. If you already have a pool of audience, it won't be a problem for you. But if you start from scratch like me, yes, you have homework to do.
