My husband gave me another Canva challenge. Canva subscription price is getting more and more expensive. It is now 95k a month for personal Pro users. An acquaintance of mine offered me a Canva Team monthly subscription for 70k. It is cheaper than the personal subscription, but again, it is still expensive to me (whether something is expensive or cheap is entirely subjective).
So, when I asked my husband for permission to buy this offer, he said, "Yes, but you should earn at least twice the price by the end of the month." Okay, I accept the challenge.
What Canva Pro Can Offer
Previously, I used Canva really for personal use. I created visuals for my blogs and social media. I created presentations for my lectures on my YouTube channel. Also, some volunteer work for an alumnae organization and a non-profit initiative by one of my in-laws. Pure-no money works.
Those jobs can actually be done just fine with Canva Free. However, since the time I tried using Pro features after I got the free trial Canva offered, I admit a Pro subscription just helps everything be easier. I no longer need to scroll endlessly to find a free asset suitable for the project. I can resize everything in one click (further editing is necessary, though, but this feature already helps a lot). Most helpful of all may be the Remove Background tool. And there are so many other features I can only use with a Pro subscription.

Possible Income Streams from Canva
Earning purely from Canva will be a real challenge for me. But you will not know if you don't try, right? So, here are possible income streams that I want to get from using Canva.
Selling Merch Designs as Digital and Physical Products
I actually attended a short course titled Creative Business Class, where we produced various product designs using only Canva. We were supposed to sell these products online, but I couldn't manage to catch up with the class. I think I can start from this while observing other ways to earn from Canva. Here are some of the products we made; both can be sold as digital or physical products:
- Acrylic Bag Tag Design
- Acrylic Keychain Design
- Custom Notebook Design
- Insert-Paper Keychain Design
- Wipe-and-Clean Lesson Schedule Design
- Notebook Cover Design
- Magnetic Bookmark Design
- Reading Pointer Design
- Acrylic Ruler Design
- Textile Sticker Design
- Custom Lunch Box Design
- Custom Bottle Design
- Cloth Pencil Case Design
- Tote Bag Design
- Shell-Shape Hand Fan Design
- Plastic Pencil Case Design
- Sticker Sheet Design
Offering Freelance Design Services
- Social Media Template Designs, including Instagram posts, stories, and reels, YouTube thumbnails, etc.
- Presentation Designs
- CV or Resume Designs
- Worksheets Designs
- Simple Video Editing
- Price list or Menu, Flyer, and Poster Design
To Sum Up
There are many possibilities to try to earn from Canva. I hope I can finish this challenge pretty well. Do you have any other ideas on how to make money using Canva? If you have any suggestions for me to complete this challenge, I would really appreciate it if you leave a comment below. Thanks in advance!
